4th and Inches Football Camp
Philosophy
Coach Katz as the camps director is involved with all of the campers and demands the best from his top notch staff of College and high school coaches and players. The first thing that will be discussed is having a great attitude, enthusiasm, and Love for the game. This, plus his tremendous background of success, has given the camp the motto of, “Learning the Game from Champions”. The organized schedule of fundamentals, the top notch drill work, the low camper to coach ratio of 10:1, and fun and exciting daily games provides your child with the best football day camp in the area.
Athletics offer an educational process in life that when seized and utilized properly, with discipline, and help develop young children with the skills necessary to become strong and productive leaders in our society. We bring together athletes and coaches who have achieved different levels of success.
Our coaches are committed to sharing with young athletes the perseverance, discipline, and the dedication needed to achieve ones maximum potential. Every athlete has an opportunity to improve their skills and receive guidance in developing physical strength and motivation. Every year we try and improve what the camp offers children, both physically and mentally. We hope that by the time the kids leave, they have a better feeling of self worth and are motivated to become a better athlete and better person.
I know attending a camp can be very valuable. My goals are to provide young athletes an opportunity to learn from the best, understand the work ethic needed to succeed, and most of all, and enjoy themselves in a competitive atmosphere. Each year the 4th and Inches Football Camp has expanded and this year should be no different. In past years, 4th and Inches has had over 225 boys participated during the 2 weeks. In addition, Coach Katz has made it pledge to keep the cost of enrollment down despite the ever increasing economic environment.
